Gullkúnst is an Icelandic jewelry store that was founded in 1993 by Helga Jónsdóttir, a Master Goldsmith, and her husband, Hallgrímur Tómas Sveinsson. Their son Hrannar Freyr Hallgrímsson, a Master Goldsmith, has worked with them for 17 years and has now taken over the business with his wife Lovísa Ýr Guðmundsdóttir.
Gullkúnst is a family business that has always been located on Laugarvegur in the heart of Reykjavík. Gullkúnst is now located at Laugavegur 49.
